You're absolutely right. This matter is definitely easier said than done. I have attempted several times to treat my home based work just like how I treat a job at the office. But it's very difficult when your kids began to knock at your door and ask for you to play with them, or when something came up that you had to leave home to attend to the matter. The only way I think to solve this is to let people know that you are working. Let them know your schedule. You will definitely have to treat this the same way as you would when you work in an office. I can't think of any other way.
