When I first started this blog I gave myself a 30 Articles in 30 Days Challenge. Well, I ended it because I didn’t think it was really worth it. But I’ve been reading a lot about others’ successes and I think I am going to give it another try.
I’ve mostly been doing passive income at Bukisa and since I last talked about it I have hit payout twice. Only $20 but it’s better than I was doing before. I know I need to be a little more focused. I was just randomly putting up articles before and that doesn’t work. So, I’m going to put a little more thought into it by being more niche specific. I haven’t decided on the niche I want to work though so I obviously need to get to work on that.
I’m also going to try Triond. I’ve heard some good and some bad but mostly good.
There are other ways to make a passive income though. I still have plans to work my e-book plan and hopefully some of you will be joining me.
So, if you have advice about building a passive income leave me a comment. And yes, you can leave links to your blog posts or e-books or articles in my comments.
As long as you’re contributing to the discussion links are good.

Do you love the look of this blog? Want your blog to look this hot? Then I'll tell you my secret! First, the blog theme I use is Thesis. It is very customizable PLUS it is great for your on page SEO!
Second, I'm using a blog skin (strangely enough it is called Blog Skin) from Thesis Awesome.

The combination of these two great blogging tools makes it easy for me to change up the look of my blog. I have to warn you though - using Thesis may turn you into a Thesis snob! It did for me!

I have been doing weekly blogs but I would also like to start doing an e-book. How are you beginning this process?

Suzanne, I’m going to be running a “challenge” for those who are new to e-book writing and it is going to have some professionals in there both taking part and offering advice. I haven’t set a date for it yet but if you are interested in keeping up to date and possibly joining us go to http://22ways.net and fill in the form to the right.

I submit at least 3 articles to Associated Content per month. Those get an upfront payment, and earn residual income. I have had a lot more luck with earning there than with Bukisa.
As far as writing for traffic, EzineArticles is the way to go. They of course don’t earn on the front-end, but they do drive traffic for when you get that ebook done.

Thanks Angie. I know Associated Content is the big one for residual income but as far as I know they don’t pay out either residuals or upfront payments for Canadians. ;(
And I love Ezine Articles for the traffic and the backlinks!
