Guest Posting
There are so many great freelance writers out there that it doesn’t seem fair that my writers should only hear from me. Are you one of those great freelance writers? Perhaps you think that you have something valuable to share? Then you should consider submitting a guest post.
What I’m Looking For:
- Topics can include the freelance life (especially as it pertains to promoting your work, getting clients, and using social media), LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube an Google+ (preferably with a slant towards freelance writing).
- You can write reviews of products or services that are of value to freelance writing (not your own product specifically but if your product or service fits into a list you can include yours).
- Your post should be specific as opposed to general. For example, instead of writing about how to use Twitter, write about how to use hashtags on Twitter.
- You should try to write something that hasn’t been written here before or at the very least a different slant on a topic that has been written about here.
- You should make use of headings and lists to make the text more readable.
Keep these things in mind:
- I have the right to publish or not publish anything that is sent to me. I don’t have to have a good reason. It’s my site.
- I have the right to edit any work I decide to publish and that may include changing the title or adding content for readability.
- I have the right to link to my own products or affiliate programs within the text.
- You can include ONE link to an affiliate program if it is suited to the content OR to a blog post or other article that you have written.
- The blog post you submit should be original and never published before. You can republish it anywhere else you like 6 months after it appears here.
- You can use a quote from the blog post on your own site or in social media venues.
- If your blog post is accepted you will receive $10 for a minimum 50o word post and $20 for a 1000 word post or higher.
- You must have PayPal if you want to be paid!
How to Submit:
Send your completed blog post to danielle.mcgaw @ gmail.com in Word format or in a text file. If you would like to run your idea by me first you can send me an email but if I say that I am interested in your idea that does NOT mean that I have accepted your post for publishing. You must send your completed post to be considered for publishing.
If your post is accepted I will set you up with an author account (this should be the email you use with gravatar if you want to have a picture in your author box). You will then fill out your profile with a full bio (you can include one link in your bio if you used a link in the post or two if you did not include any links in your post) and set up your post as a draft. Let me know when it is set up and I will go in to double check and add pictures.
Have any questions? You can send me an email or you can use the Contact page (at the top) to ask them.
