Interesting statistics … I definitely agree that social media is not a waste of time as I receive many new leads and new clients from my networks on Facebook and Twitter – and my blog generates consistent new business as well. The key is to stay on brand, provide value, participate in conversation, build relationships – and do it with consistency.

      Why not? Social media is a great tool for business and it is one tool that you can do for a few minutes a day and get the best use out of. I think of it as “kissing babies” on the Internet! LOL

    I’m finding that my Squidoo.com articles are getting crazy shares, likes and repins. I’ve noticed as well the more relevant and eye catching your photo is, the better on Pinterest.

    Wonderful infographic. It seems social media also gives direction and sense. If I look at squidoo and the best performing lenses it shows on what lifestyles questions we look for answers.
    It is the community that helps make our choices such as what book should I read next or what laptop bag is best for me, etc
